Greetings to Charlie’s sponsors.
This last month has brought what is likely the largest internal shake-up that Tabby’s Place has ever seen! I’m lucky enough to have had a front row seat to all the action without being affected whatsoever. I’ve watched through the wall of windows in my fabulous Suite FIV+ as almost everything and everybody (feline and human) moved to new and different places within our building. I’m told that many factors made our staff decide on these moves. Most importantly, it was the best plan for all the cats here at Tabby’s Place, of course. From where I sit, it’s been quite entertaining to watch all the hubbub!
Although I hear everyone is loving their new digs, I’m quite grateful that me and my buddies got to stay exactly where we are. I spent most of the last month feeling the spring breezes in our solarium and watching our backyard slowly come to life.
Alas, I’ve also spent the last month struggling with diarrhea again. My kitty gastrointestinal system is just not cooperating! But, my ever-dedicated vet team has come up with a new medication plan, combined with a probiotic supplement, which is helping.
I had an ultrasound this month, which was super easy for me of course, because it just meant I got even more petting than usual. Plus, the results were all good news. There were no abnormalities to explain my persistent diarrhea. Most importantly, there was no thickening of my bowel, which could indicate IBD or lymphoma, so we’re all relieved. My stool is being carefully monitored on the new protocol, and paws crossed, I’ll quickly improve quite soon.
Please do think good thoughts for me as always, and know that I send lots of furry grey love your way. You are the reason I have the most excellent care a kitty could ever ask for. I hope you enjoy my latest selfie, taken from my scribe’s lap as I snuggled in like a champ.
Happy May to you.
Peace, love, and purrs….
