Update for Charlie

Dear sponsors,

Let me first say thank you, my beloved friends, for sending all your love to my kitty gastrointestinal system. Of course, all that positive energy coming my way did wonders, and my fickle stool is finally improving! Isn’t that what everyone wants to hear?

I know it’s kind of a gross topic, but for me, this is major good news. For anyone else out there who has suffered with severe gastrointestinal issues, you understand. For a terrible while there, I was bouncing between severe diarrhea and borderline constipation, but thanks to medication and a special diet, my kitty gut is feeling ever so much better now. My stellar vet team has been able to discontinue my medication, and they’ll continue with daily stool checks to make sure I stay on the right track.

In other news, I recently had a grand adventure due to a random springtime burst of spontaneity. Our Executive Director witnessed the whole event, and relayed the play-by-play to my scribe, so she could tell y’all about it.

So one day, our E.D. opened the door to my suite, and I don’t know what got into me, but I bolted out into the hallway between our suite’s indoor room and our solarium. Strangely, at that moment, I noticed that the door to another suite’s indoor room was also open, and I said to myself, “Why not?” and ran in. Well, wouldn’t you know it? The suite just happened to be our Weight Management Suite, which doesn’t have any goodies or dry food on the floor during the day, so all my spontaneity was for naught. No contraband food that I could snack on! Oh well. You can’t blame a guy for trying. Sometimes, the thrill of breaking out of your routine is thrill enough.

So break out of your routine this month, and do something just a little against the rules. And tell ’em Charlie sent ya! Here’s a picture of me laughing at the rules for your amusement.

Peace, love, and purrs…
Charlie
