Adam is still being Adam. He is feisty, funny and adorable. He continues to be very well behaved, and I can get quite a number of pets in before he starts swatting me. He is also much more gentle with his swats: more playful than frantic. I am so pleased with this new Adam, and I enjoy getting to spend time with him in a more “user friendly” manner.
This month, one of Adam’s admirers alerted our vet that Adam was “walking weirdly.” Dr. C. dutifully observed Adam, but deemed him “normal for Adam.” (We are always grateful for folks’ concern, of course; better to report something to the vet and have it turn out to be nothing than to let something serious go unnoticed.)
Ever unpredictable, Adam had a bout of diarrhea this month. We responded by skipping his stool softener and treating him with an antibiotic. When his stool returned to normal, so did his usual regimen. Adam also had a dental this month, and is doing just fine.
Adam recently enjoyed a visit from a few children from the school where I teach. They thought Adam was very cute. Unfortunately, Adam was a little “leaky” that day, and the girls were a bit put off by that. They did enjoy watching him stalk around the room. They ended up loving Rose and ignoring Adam. Poor Adam. He just can’t hold a candle to Rosie’s cuteness and sweetness with little girls. I will keep working with him to help him become more child friendly!
Adam sends you, his dear sponsors, all of his love. He appreciates you so much and hopes that you have an amazing month of colorful leaves and special Halloween treats! He sends you a fuzzy head bonk and some Adam kisses. Have a wonderful month, friends!
