Update for Zencada

Hello and Happy Spring to Zencada’s wonderful sponsors!

Zencada knows that she is a diabetic. She knows that her diabetes is remarkably well-regulated, if she takes her medication and sticks to a healthy diet. She also knows that if she uses her beautiful, golden eyes to somehow hypnotize someone into sneaking her some “people food,” she may wreak havoc on her blood sugar and she will undoubtedly get a bout of diarrhea. We have asked her repeatedly not to work her magical tortie mojo to obtain contraband snacks.

She was warned. She was given an explanation. Nevertheless, she persisted.

I promise you: we are trying our best to regulate her diet, for both her diabetes and her, um, “butt issues” — but someone (someones??) continues to fall prey to her charms and supply her with off-limits noms. We think this is part of the reason Zen continued struggling with diarrhea this month. We treated this with medication, and she seems to be bouncing back nicely. Also, Zen had a dental this month, from which she recovered beautifully. Here’s hoping that some new pearly whites and a less gurgle-y tummy will convince Zen to take her diet a bit more seriously. Because really, good grief with the snacking.

Now that the weather is so amazingly beautiful, if you live relatively close by and have always wondered where the heck Ringoes actually is, and if you are wanderlusting for a road trip, might I recommend coming to Tabby’s Place to visit Zencada? Just one request, though: don’t bring snacks!

Zen and I wish you a sunny spring, filled with flowers and puffy clouds. Zencada thanks you for being her friend and for your generous support. We’ll talk again soon, friends. . .
