Dearest Friend of Tux,

Do you know what puts a spring in his step, what warms his heart, what makes Tux feel most alive? Well, YOUR LOVE, of course!

Tux is so grateful to have you as his very special person.

Patches heard that May is the month of Prom season. She took the opportunity to snuggle up to Tux and “subtly” suggest that they make the perfect pair: Tux in his handsome tuxedo jacket and Patches in her pastel patchwork gown.

There is no denying that they make a stunning couple, but Tux, ever the gentleman, reminded Patches that these days, friends attend these dances in groups and he wouldn’t wish for Smokey, Rori, Bob, Sootie, or any other Community Room friends to feel left out.

Patches understood.

Special occasions call for special attention. I guess the word got out to some of the staff that the Community Room cats were planning to bring out the disco ball and crank up the tunes, because before Tux realized what was happening, he had been placed paw deep in a spa session, complete with a shampoo and brush out.

Can you believe that while two of our staff doted on dear Tux, a third decided to document the event in full color pixels without written consent?

While I was not personally on site for spa day to witness the event, I think the picture captures Tux’s feelings quite perfectly. I would only dream of sharing such a photo with family, but that is what you are to Tux. [Tux politely requests that you keep this to yourself.]

After such an exhausting endeavor, the best possible thing to do was to settle into a cozy blanket for a peaceful nap. The best way to be prepared for whatever festivities might unfold this month is to be rested and ready.

Tux and I hope that all the beauty and sunshine of the season find you feeling most alive!

p.s. Tux asks that you keep his dear friend Patches in your thoughts. She was recently diagnosed with small-cell lymphoma and is undergoing treatment. While she doesn’t seem to realize that anything is amiss, and we know that she has a strong spirit much like Tux, some extra positive vibes never hurt.
