Happy June, Friends!
Steven and I hope that this update finds you well. Spring has sprung and it is almost summer! Wow, this year has flown!
Steven had a blood pressure check this month, which was good. His medication will continue unchanged, as it seems to be keeping things stable and controlled. He had a big sneezing fit on one occasion, but was checked out by the vet team and given the all-clear. He was also noted to be hanging over the water bowl, but a urinalysis indicated no problems.
Things in Suite A keep changing and Steven just keeps moving right along with the changes. He has been hanging out inside the suite more than he used to. I’m thinking it is due to other cats suddenly deciding to be outdoors. There are certain personalities that Steven likes to steer clear of. There is a new little boy in Suite A named Kozmo. He is from Lebanon and has had an injury to his rectum. He is very young and very energetic. Steven just watches him bouncing from wall to wall and shakes his head. He is not thrilled about his new roomie’s antics!
Unfortunately, we had to say our last goodbyes to little Mishush this month. Her GI lymphoma finally caught up to her feisty spirit. It is much sadder in Suite A right now without her spunky and sweet personality. She was a true force of nature and all of Suite A will miss her very much. Steven never spent a lot of time with her, but he liked her all the same.
We are looking forward to the Quinn’s Corner opening. It is growing ever closer! If you or anyone you know would like to volunteer with us, please encourage them to learn more or sign up by clicking here. We need lots of new team members to help make this dream a reality.
Steven and I hope that you have a lovely start to your summer. Steven is forever grateful for your continued generosity to Tabby’s Place. You make a lovely life possible for kitties like him.
