Update for Rose

Update for Rose

How y’all doing, dear sponsors?

I promised that spring would be around the corner, and in a blink of an eye it came a-calling! “Spring in the Solarium” could be my first hit song, if I could only sing! My fur has never felt better, as I put my lil’ black and white face towards the sky and absorb the sunshine. I am a really lucky lil’ girl, and send you the BIGGEST thank you for being my sponsor.

I enjoy talking about the activities at Tabby’s Place, and it seems that the spring season brings the a real buzz to our sanctuary. Lots of adoptions, and lots of new residents joining us. I love to greet the new arrivals and make them feel as welcome as I was when I arrived as a lil’ kitty. With so many visitors I have to stay well-groomed, so all the tours to Solarium A are suitably impressed. I still get tickled pink (cats can blush) when visitors compliment this lil’ black and white southern kitty, and say I am pretty as a Rose.

If you follow the Tabby’s Place Facebook page (which I know you do), you might have noticed some postings of tiny teeny kittens — the ones humans call newborns. Can you imagine what I looked like as a tiny teeny kitten? I do believe baby Rose would be very proud of big cat Rose. Proud that I am a gentle soul, and that I’m kind and welcoming to cats and humans. Yes, I am so blessed to live at Tabby’s Place and have you as my sponsor.

Now for the breaking news: Tabby’s Place will be hosting a Kitten Shower and Adoption Event in June. Please join us for kittens, cats, refreshments and tours. Be sure to have your tour guide bring you by solarium A for a visit! I must confess, I am on the lookout for a kitten that looks like me. My correspondent calls this a “mini me,” and she would be tickled pink to see a mini Rose. I do declare that kitten season is officially here! Check for the official date announcement on Facebook.

My health news this month is quite interesting. I have always prided myself on my sleek cat figure. My weight usually does not fluctuate. At my last weigh-in I had lost a few ounces. Being the incredible staff that they are, my Tabby’s Place “angels” did a full exam of me, and I am happy to say there is no need to worry. Honestly y’all, I get so absorbed in enjoying my solarium time that I might forget to eat a kibble or two!

Whether your kids are human or fur babies, I hope you had a wonderful Mother’s Day, surrounded by love.

Until next month, sending you whisker kisses and spring sunshine!
