Dear Team Regina,
These are exciting times at Tabby’s Place, as we celebrate 21 years of rescuing cats from hopeless situations! Can you believe it? As a nonprofit organization, we have helped nearly 4,500 kittens and cats, and YOU have been an essential part of our success.
We also just wrapped up our biggest Linda Fund Matching Challenge ever. Not only did our community come together to raise $320,000 for the cats, but we did so before the September 30th deadline! Regina and I are extremely grateful for all the love and generosity our extended family lavishes upon Tabby’s Place and all its residents. We simply couldn’t continue our important mission successfully without you. Thank you so much for your amazing support!
Turning to other delightful tidbits of delectable Tabby’s Place news, I’m happy to report that Regina and Mr. Man’s romance continues to blossom. Our favorite May-December couple are snuggling and canoodling as cozily as two bugs in a rug. Regina is head over paws for her distinguished older beau. This is no mere teenage crush for our smitten kitten! This is real 24-carat gold, take your breath away, sweet, sweet love. A dapper don, Mr. Man dotes on his young lady love, providing her with both his rapt attentiveness and his tender loving embrace. Right now, the passionate pair seem to be in a world all their own. It’s soooo romantic that we may start “shopping” their beautiful love story to the major movie studios – it’s sure to be an Oscar-winning blockbuster.
Regina, of course, is right on board with documenting this sweet love affair, despite any protestations from Mr. Man. Very happy and ever so healthy, she fully intends to play herself on film. A much more private fellow, he would much prefer to keep their relationship private. Even the mere presence of their suitemate, Checkers, gives Mr. Man pause: Is this another paramour vying for his ladylove’s heart or, perhaps, a paparazzi looking to take that million-dollar shot of the happy couple for the tabloids?
And that, dear friends, is the crux of where we are—a Ben and J Lo moment! Regina is happily, madly, passionately in love with Mr. Man and also dreams of the day her name will be in lights. She’s already been wardrobe shopping and is entirely convinced pink is her new signature color. Mr. Man, while certainly elegant in his handsome tuxedo, is very reticent about embracing the high life and letting the whole world into their happy, little love cocoon. Therein lies the dilemma: Can our love birds make it work?
