Hello, my loves, and a happy April 2025 to you!

I hope this missive finds you well and happy and looking forward to my latest antics at Tabby’s Place.

It’s been a busy month here with comings and goings. Unfortunately, two of my lobby-mates (Grecca and Boobalah) have graduated to kitty heaven, and we miss them terribly.

Then we welcomed the behemoth Cinderblock, love bug that he is, and just as we were becoming close friends, he was adopted and went to a forever home! Well, good for him!

Little Berry has been moved to the lobby. He’s still a baby and has hind-end issues like I do (in his case, spina bifida), so we have a lot in common. I’m looking forward to showing him the ropes.

I’ve been a bit—shall we say—mischievous these past few weeks? I chewed a cardboard cat bed that had to be discarded, and then I tried to sneak into the Community Room a few times. The humans think I did it to steal treats, but really, it was just to visit my friends there!

I also had a few “bathroom mishaps” with a little leakage, but honestly, I don’t do this on purpose. Sometimes I just can’t help it because of the paralysis in my hind quarters. The wonderful humans here cleaned everything up and took good care of me—and they weren’t even mad!

I heard through the Tabby’s Place grapevine (yes, we do have one) that one of my lobby mates (Olive) is sweet on me, and has actually referred to me as her “squeeze!” Maybe it’s because we are both black and white and have similar physical issues.

I can’t blame her, since I am devastatingly handsome and debonair (what’s not to love?). But, I’m still new here and not really ready to settle down, if you know what I mean. I think I should play the field a bit, and you never know who might show up in the future! I think I’ll keep my options open without hurting her feelings.

Before I say goodbye for this month, please remember to celebrate some of the special “cat holidays” coming up between now and May 15th: April 19th is National Cat Lady Day, April 30th is National Tabby Cat Day, and, of course, May 5th is CINCO DE MEOW! Live it up and have fun!
