Hope this update finds you doing as swimmingly as our sweet boy Newman. Spring is his favorite time of year, and he is loving life.
June has brought us warmer days, and Newman finds them purrfectly satisfying. He doesn’t mind the warm weather at all, and in fact still snuggles up in blankets to get comfy.
During a recent visit with Newman and the guys and gals in Suite FIV, Addy took over my lap, literally. It no longer belonged to me, it was whatever she wanted it be. It was blissful for both of us. In addition to loving the summery sunshine, Adelaide is quite the athlete. She loves to chase moving things. When Newman wasn’t pouncing on the slithering snake, Addy was there to chase it and show who rules. She not only rules, she rocks.
Newman has quite a left hook when it comes to battling all things snake”ish”. I guess he was a little sluggish from the warm weather, but he put up quite a fight from his comfy raised bed.
Gaze into Suite FIV this time of year, and you’re likely to think the suite is entirely vacant. That’s because Newman and his neighbors are our most enthusiastic “outdoors cats.” But, even more than he loves the sunshine, Newman loves people. If humans are too dense to recognize the obviously superior climate in the solarium and insist on hanging out in the suite, Newman is the first cat to barrel back in, mugging for love.

This fund supports the emergency and specialty care for the neediest cats. Many of our special needs cats have been beneficiaries of the Linda Fund at one point or another.
