Update for Morgan

The past month has been full of happiness for Morgan.
Come to think of it, that has pretty much been his life since he came to Tabby’s Place.

He splits his time among

  1. napping in comfortable spots (there are many of these in the Lobby),
  2. eating (the Lobby is like flying first class, with its never-ending snacks and drinks),
  3. endearing himself to visitors

When I walk out of my office, I am not surprised to find him curled up on one of the couches next to a visitor.

Morgan is the perfect Lobby Greeter: he is charming, handsome and very friendly.

One of the most coveted sleeping spots in the Lobby is the bed next to the Lobby workstation.
It is, at the same time, both out of the way and in the middle of things.
There is often someone at the workstation or on the phone, which provides ample opportunities for affection.
Even better, it is the prefect spot from which to practice the art of “computer distraction.”

Some cats claim the desk spot for their own and do everything in their power not to leave it.
Morgan is so good-natured that he is happy to share the spot with Angel, our newest Lobby resident.
You can see Angel occupying the location just above the bed, waiting her turn.

Morgan has become quite the Lobby fixture.
I have to remind myself that he still has severe heart disease and that everything in this life is transient.
It’s hard to accept this truth.
