Morgan has progressed from hardly walking to frequently romping around the office, rubbing my legs and chirping. In fact, he has taken to greeting everyone who comes in with a happy chirp and frantic leg rubbing. He is a wonderful ambassador and office mate.
Given the temporary paralysis caused by the lack of blood to his rear legs, we had not expected him to be able to climb. But last week, Morgan amazed me by jumping onto one of the chairs in my office. He has now taken to spending most of his time on one of my office chairs. In fact, he often jumps up without using the steps.
She had been “vacationing” for the past 8 weeks in our “Ringworm Suite.” Colleen has to be locked in my office during the night, as she is on a special diet to keep her diabetes in abeyance.
Now, Morgan is gentle guy and doesn’t mind sharing the office, but he seems to be afraid of Colleen.
Colleen is such a small, frail girl, it’s hard to imagine anyone or thing being afraid of her (see photo). But she has managed to kick Morgan out of his bed, relegating him to a bed under the chair.
Fortunately, Morgan is easy going and Colleen spends her days “summering” in the Community Room.
Thank you, kind sponsors, for your continued support for our very special boy. Enjoy the rest of your August.
