A few weeks ago, a family came in just to visit the cats: mother, father, and two young boys (maybe 7 and 9). Despite being anxious to handle every cat, they were very well behaved.
Before approaching any cat, the younger boy would ask, “Is this cat good and nice?”
It was absolutely adorable, as they visited the suites with Angela, to see them ask about each cat.
As you can imagine, some kids are so excited that they immediately rush any cat they see.
We need to keep a close eye on younger children, as we have quite a few cats that would be happy to remove a body part from an “attacking street urchin.”
But when these two young boys hit the Lobby, they immediately spied Morgan.
It was more than they could bear, and they rushed him and threw their arms around him.
Normally, this would be a cringe-worthy sight, as visions of screams and blood danced through our heads.
But, with Morgan, our hearts didn’t skip a beat.
He is so gentle and sociable.
He was thrilled by the attention and happily settled in for a long “snuggle fest.”
