It’s been a rough few weeks for us humans at Tabby’s Place.
We lost 4 cats (long-timer Nimbus, FIV+ JV and 2 kittens).
In addition, one of my office mates, Doc, was banished to Ringworm Isolation for treatment.
When I’m feeling this low, I often take some time out and just with a cat or two for a while.
No demands.
No need for communication.
No need for anything special.
While almost any cat will “work,” Morgan is the perfect partner for this catharsis.
He is always welcoming, appreciative and gentle.
He is happy to just sit, though he greatly appreciates petting. 🙂
He is content to just “be.”
(See photo for Morgan approaching me just after I sat down.)
A little quiet time with Morgan helps me to remember what is really important in life.
It is a wonderful antidote to the inevitable pains of life.
I’m also happy to report that Morgan’s medical condition is stable.
And he is as happy as a clam.
