Dear Friends,

So much for the FIV+ Suite being quiet. Wilson was off his meds and we had a few scuffles. We’re talking “fur flying” scuffles – and most of it mine! So Wilson is now back on his behavior meds.
There’s also a rumor that there are a few new FIV+ cats at Tabby’s Place that will eventually make their way to the FIV+ Suite. I hear one of them is a female named Fontina. It’s been a while since we had a female in our suite. Might be a nice change of energy and I’m told she’s really sweet. There are two older guys, too: Mozzarella and Eugene. All these food names, like Spaghetti, Fontina, and Mozzarella, make it sound like we’re running an Italian restaurant from our suite. It’s also making me VERY hungry.

Despite my hunger, I continue to lose weight and the kind Tabby’s Place staff continues to monitor me. Everything looks good and there doesn’t seem to be anything to worry about. That said, I’ve never loved my bland diet. While it keeps my tummy healthy, I just can’t get excited about it. So now every time I hear someone call for one of our “Italian food-named” cats, I’ll probably start to drool.
For the new year, I’m wishing for tasty treats, continued love from staff and visitors, and nice days to rest in sunny spots in the solarium. I’m also wishing that your days are filled with lots of love, laughter and good health.
XOXO,
Lester
