Dear Friends,
My old friend and former shelter sibling, Toby, was adopted. This is his second adoption from Tabby’s Place, the lucky guy. I wish him many happy days lounging in sunny spots with his new family.
Our newest guys, Spaghetti and Pluto, are prone to disturbing the peace in the FIV+ Suite. I guess they’re still learning to adjust. Spaghetti is sporting an orange color, which is a warning for visitors that he can be unpredictable and should only be handled by trained and experienced staff. He loves human attention and seeks it out, but gets overexcited very easily and is prone to biting. Pluto also wants attention and is willing to fight any cat that gets in his way. Luckily, with only five of us now, we have a lot of space to keep our distance!
My health has been good, though I’ve lost a little weight this past month. There’s no medical reason for this. The staff thinks it’s because I don’t love my restricted ingredient diet (bingo!), but it keeps my GI tract happy and healthy, so I guess I just need to get used to it. That said, I’ll never stop praying that a stray treat makes its way to my mouth from time to time … a guy can dream!
With the Thanksgiving holiday just around the corner, I wanted to convey my deep appreciation and gratitude for all your amazing love and support. You have been a good friend to me, and every day at Tabby’s Place is a gift I could not have without your ongoing support. Many thanks for all you do.
Lots of love,
Lester
