Update for Lester

Dear friends,

Sometimes when I sleep, I dream that I’m an Olympic diver. As you can see from my photo, my form is outstanding.

When I’m not dreaming of Olympic achievements, my mind is on food. My tummy operates like a roller coaster with some highs and some lows when it comes to the consistency of my stool. This requires a special diet, of which I am most definitely not a fan. So far this month, I’ve been told my poop is stellar, so the diet I’m on seems to be working. Now, if we could only find something that tastes better…

Things have been much more zen in the FIV+ Suite lately. Knickers, our new troublemaker, sometimes goes to a private room where the kind staff works with him one-on-one to teach him how to be a good neighbor. When he’s in the Suite, they take turns crating him and Rufus, since a lot of the escalations start with these two. We’re all crossing our paws that he’s able to adjust quickly.

Spring will be here soon, though it doesn’t always feel like it. That means lazy afternoons in the solarium looking out over Cherny’s Garden. In the meantime, I’ll continue to curl up on a soft bed indoors and have sweet dreams of all the wonderful ways you love and support me.

Your friend,
Lester
