Hips’ Happenings #30
Happy June, Dear Sponsors and Tabby’s Place Fans.
Welcome to my latest update. I hope you are enjoying big blooms and verdant green grass, as we are here in Ringoes, courtesy of all the rainy days we have had lately. I’m ready for more sun!

Well, I am not exactly sure how to say this, because I don’t want to upset any of you, dear sponsors. But, I have not been such a good boy this month. Please don’t be mad at me, because, after all, I am a kitty and can’t be perfect all the time.
I have a neighbor named Peabody (Colonel Peabody is his full name…does that mean I need to salute?), who lives in the Lobby with me. He has been trying to get me to play with him. Sometimes I do, but at other times I just don’t want to be bothered.
I tried to hide in the cleaning cart, but he found me. Other times, we work together to plan an escape through the Quinn’s Corner doors, to other parts of Tabby’s Place. After all, we are curious! But usually we are stymied by those darn humans!
The humans are saying that I have been getting into mischief. I was put into “time out” on several occasions for chasing the other Lobby cats…namely, Bob, Peabody, and Olive. And, I have even been going after my dear lady, Miss Prescott.
Hmmmm…not very good, since we all have to live here together, and, at least usually, in harmony. I even heard that the staff set up an overnight motion camera to see if it sheds any light on my escapades.

Meanwhile, Lobby duties keep us all busy. Miss Prescott has been helping. She makes sure that all the kitties get their medications by working with the staff to keep track in the meds folder.
Health-wise, I have also been having some challenges. I might be constipated, since I am not enjoying my bladder or colon expressions. I have been seen going from one litter box to another, sometimes with no luck and sometimes with some luck. Maybe that is why I am being such a bad little boy this month. Our amazing vet team is figuring it out for me. Thank you for making it possible for me to get the care I need!
I am enjoying the sunny days as summer comes our way. I love when visitors come to Tabby’s Place and I get extra attention. The Lobby is a center for all kinds of action, from engaging with the volunteers who are cleaning, to seeing the supplies hauled through to the storage area, to greeting visitors, to seeing the kittens roll in (it is kitten season, after all)–I get to be part of it all!

And I am so thankful for you, dear sponsors, for your continued support, so I can be here at Tabby’s Place. I am truly spoiled and loving it. The only thing that would make it even better is a visit from you. I will be happy to curl up in your lap for some pets and hugs. I will even let you play with the other kitties here, as long as I get most of your attention, of course.
Have a wonderful month, and I will report back on my news and antics in July.
Hugs and kitty kisses,
Hips
