Hips’ Happening #26
Happy February, Dear Sponsors, and Tabby’s Place Fans!
Here comes my latest list of happenings here at the sanctuary. Relax, pull up a chair, have a nice hot cup of coffee, tea, or cocoa, and enjoy the read.

So, it has been a cold, snowy, and icy winter so far. But I am so grateful to all of you, dear sponsors, for keeping me safe and warm here at Tabby’s Place with my lady friends here in the Lobby. You can see that we are taking advantage of the space heaters and warming pads that the staff provides. They are super careful and ensure the heaters are set up properly for us so they are not a danger.
Grecca, Prescott, and I have been enjoying really good health this month and have been catching up on our cat naps to prepare for today. You see, today, from 12-4pm, is our Your Feline Valentine event, focused on us sponsorable kitties. You can spend time with me! The first hour is reserved just for sponsors like you. Then, from 1 to 4 pm, we open the event to the public so they can meet us. There are refreshments and lots of kitties to meet. And you can even bring a friend who might like to sponsor one of us just like you do.

BUT, there is a big surprise…and I mean, BIG!! We have a mystery Valentine kitty making a first appearance to the public here at Tabby’s Place. Not even I know who it is… and I, being the leader of the Lobby, know just about everything. So be sure to stop by to see who this mystery Valentine kitty is.
Now that all of the holidays are over for a while, I have been spending time on the computer making sure all the staff are keeping up with the kitties and all of their needs here. And I have been joined in this part of my work (I pawgraphed a contract with the sanctuary to do some chores for my keep, and computer work is one of those chores—LOL!) by my dear lady friend, Prescott. We share space here at the reception desk and switch positions from time to time. But it is very important for us to be on call whenever we are needed. We take our jobs here very seriously.

If you were worried that we don’t have any rest breaks or downtime, never fear. I just love to spend time in the lap of one of my favorite volunteers, Kevin. I get lots of pets and hugs and can stay here for a long time. He comes to see me a lot and I know that I am in for some special cuddle time when I see him come through the door.
So again, let me thank you for all of your love and donations to keep us healthy and happy here at Tabby’s Place. This is a very special place, as you know, and so much of that is because of very special sponsors like you. I know that all of the kitties here are especially grateful to have you in our corner. Come visit us here so we can thank you in person. Please be safe, well, and warm for the rest of this Winter. C’mon spring…
Hugs and kitty kisses,
Hips
