Hips’ Happenings #21

Keeping watch at the door with Olive!

Happy September, and Welcome to My Latest Happenings, Dear Sponsors…

So, there are two songs I am singing this month…

“My wish came true when I met you,” and “Don’t Stop Believin’.”

I guess I should explain.

You know I told you about Oliver, AKA Ollie.  You also know that he and I were in constant combat over who ruled the Lobby.  Well, guess what?  My wish came true because Oliver got adopted—that’s right….ADOPTED!!!!   I am actually very happy for him because he never stopped believing that there was a furever home out there for him(and neither did I ).  All of the cats here at Tabby’s Place are singing those same songs because we do wish for our own home and we never stop believing that someday it will happen.

So now there is peace in the Lobby.  Olive and I are once again keeping watch at the door.

Wanted! Chief Mischief Makers!

But since the sign went up about keeping Prescott and me out of Quinn’s Corner, she and I have decided to split up.  NO, we have not split our relationship—we have only split up once in a while to get into mischief.  Prescott keeps going to the door that separates us from Quinn’s Corner and I have decided to become a television personality.  Never fear, dear Sponsors, because when we are done with our little shenanigans, we regroup and come together again just to watch the Lobby and to curl up side by side.

I told you I was a TV personality!

I have been in very good health these days with just a touch of my elimination problems.  I do try on my own and prefer it that way.  But sometimes the staff has to help me.  I usually put up a bit of a fuss, but I really do feel better afterwards.Anyway, I am fine here and getting ready for all the fall activities.

There was something going on about a picnic to thank the Volunteers.  I heard it was really good and that there was a lot of food and games and prizes and awards. And even a DOUBLE rainbow, which meant all the kitties who left us to go to the Rainbow Bridge must have been there, too.

Double Rainbow at the Volunteer Picnic!

But you, dear sponsors, should try and come to visit us here at the Sanctuary.  We won’t feed you, but we will play games with you and since WE are the prizes here, you might even take one of us home as  your reward.  Tabby’s Place is open to you and I am so looking forward to meeting you and playing with you and sharing my Lobby.

Until next month, have a wonderful Fall and don’t ever stop believin’…

Purrs and kitty kisses,
Hips
