Update for Faye

Hello, friends of Faye!

It’s me, Beth, and I’m back as your regular correspondent this month to keep you updated on our glamour girl. Friends, we’ve got a mystery on our hands. Here’s the scoop: We’ve heard recurrent reports from our wonderful volunteers that when Faye’s ears are touched, she cries out, as if in pain. And yet, when our veterinary team dutifully examines Faye’s ears each time this happens, they can’t find any explanation for this discomfort. As far as we can tell, she doesn’t have an ear infection (and we see no evidence that she might have snuck over to the mall to get any piercings), so we’ll continue monitor her very closely.

Otherwise, Faye is doing well, albeit a little (or perhaps a lot?) tired of these random April snowfalls. Faye really loves to soak up the sunshine in her her suite’s adjacent solarium space, so as you might imagine, she gets a little miffed when Mother Nature decides to turn the world outside into a snowglobe. Personally, I think our delayed spring is nature’s way of telling us all to stay inside and snuggle up a little longer. There will be plenty of time for bike rides, pool parties, and road trips in a few more weeks — so for now, just relax, put on a pot of tea, grab your coziest socks, and watch some Netflix.

Faye and I send you warm thoughts on these chilly days. Thank you so much for being one of Faye’s best friends and for your generous support. Please send her some positive vibes for her sensitive ears this month! We’ll talk again soon, friends.
