Update for Faye

Hello to Faye’s wonderful friends!

It’s finally October! Welcome to the month of hayrides, pumpkin picking, apple cider, jack-o-lantern carving, and, as Garfield said in his Halloween special circa 1985, it’s time for “candy, candy, candy!” But before you eat that second or third (or sixth) bite-sized Snickers candy bar, Faye would like to issue a very important public service announcement: Don’t forget to brush and floss your teeth!

Princess Faye, who is usually the model of good heath, had some dental issues this month. Our veterinary team discovered some significant inflammation around some of her teeth, causing her to react painfully when eating. Faye was initially treated with pain medication, but ultimately, she needed a full dental procedure. Faye’s teeth, from her canines back, were extracted, which has resolved the issue. Faye wants to reassure you that she feels much better now, thanks to her procedure. She is eating and drinking normally and showing no more signs of pain. She does, though, wish that she had flossed a bit more in her youth.

Faye also wants to thank you (yes, YOU). When you chose Faye as your friend and became her sponsor, you made a special and loving commitment to help support Faye. It’s because of your generosity that we at Tabby’s Place are able to provide all our kitties with such wonderful medical (and dental) care. Faye appreciates being happy, healthy, and able to eat her kibble pain-free!

Faye and I both hope you have a lovely October and a Happy Halloween!
