Update for Colleen

Dear Supporters of Colleen,

Colleen looks amazing. That’s the word on the street, and if you’ve had the opportunity to visit our beautiful girl in the past few weeks, seen her basking in the sunshine, or watched her lapping up the water from her favorite fountain, then you, too, would echo the resounding chorus of admirers.

As I’ve said so often before, Colleen is my addiction. When I walk into the Community Room and find her all curled up in her favorite pose on the couch, all is right with my world. She’s settled in so nicely in this special place, and her life is so good right now, that I feel the need to keep my fingers permanently crossed.

Even Colleen’s medical news is good this month. Col’s upper respiratory infection has cleared up, and she’s only had a few instances of facial pawing. So, yeah, considering everything, she’s — can I say it? — as healthy as we can expect.

Things may be looking up even further in the future with a brand new treatment. Since Colleen has had so many recurring respiratory issues, the good folks at Tabby’s Place are considering a new intranasal vaccine. This is a cutting edge treatment, and cats with chronic upper respiratory issues have done quite well with it.

So, with the winter weather behind us and spring here at last, Colleen and I both thank you, as always, for your continued generous support.
