Update for Boots

Happy Wednesday, fellow Boots-lovers,

And I do mean a happy Wednesday.

You guessed it: our boy is home!

Boots did so well during his dental that the University of Pennsylvania “dream team” was able to take out all of his teeth from the canines (those big “fangs” in front) back. That leaves just some teensy little incisors in the front, and no more pain for our brave Boots.

If you’re worried about how Boots will eat now that he’s nearly toothless, there’s no need to fear: he’s already chowing down like a champ. As you might expect, he made quick work of stealing every heart at UPenn. He’s sooooo sweet, the team there cooed. We knew they were an intelligent bunch!

Boots was quiet and content on his ride home to Tabby’s Place, and he’ll be spending the night in our in-house hospital so we can monitor him. Now that the dental itself is over, Boots is about 99% out of the woods; we just need to make sure his heart doesn’t have any unpleasant after-effects. But, Denise (our Senior Veterinary Technician) assures me, with each healthy hour that passes, the odds grow in favor of the coast being clear.

I promise to give Boots many, many kisses for you, amazing sponsors. Our boy is healthy, happy, handsome (as always) and pain-free – and it has everything to do with your very generous love.

I thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Three cheers for Boots!
