Update for Boots

My dear friends,

All the joys of the season to you! I don’t know about you, but this is one of my favorite times of year. I’ve been spending all my free time relaxing in the lobby. Sometimes I nap inside a crate, which I don’t mind half so much now that I know I don’t need to spend the night in one of them.

More often, though, I’m looking for someone to curl up with. It’s chilly and darker outside, which makes people more likely to get cuddly. Lap time galore! And if there isn’t a person around to nap on, I’m more than happy to make do getting cozy with one of my friends. Let me tell you, Mario and Morgan make good pillow material.

Snuggling up with my friends also reminds me of what the holidays are all about – love, sharing, and spending time with those who are dear to you. My friends and I share everything, even dinner! You know that must be true love. And just for you, we arranged this traditional Christmas carol. We’ll be singing it together on Christmas morning, and now you can, too!

I Saw Three Fish

I saw three fish come sailing in
On Christmas Day, on Christmas Day;
I saw three fish come sailing in
On Christmas Day in the morning.

And who will eat those fish all three,
On Christmas Day, on Christmas Day?
No, I won’t keep it all for me
On Christmas Day in the morning.

All kitties with your Boots were there,
On Christmas Day, on Christmas Day;
The scent of fish was in the air
On Christmas Day in the morning.

Pray, which ones ate those fish all three,
On Christmas Day, on Christmas Day;
Pray, which ones ate those fish all three,
On Christmas Day in the morning?

The first one went to Mario,
On Christmas Day, on Christmas Day;
He shared it with sweet Casper, though
On Christmas Day in the morning.

The second, Morgan parceled out
On Christmas Day, on Christmas Day;
All cats were joyous, meowing out!
On Christmas Day in the morning.

And I, your Boots, shared out the third
On Christmas Day, on Christmas Day;
With all my friends, as you have heard
On Christmas Day in the morning.

And all the cats on earth shall sing,
On Christmas Day, on Christmas Day;
And all the cats on earth shall sing,
On Christmas Day in the morning.

Then let us all rejoice again,
On Christmas Day, on Christmas Day;
For fishes will be served again,
On Christmas Day in the morning.

I hope you have the very best of holidays this year, my friends!

Much love,
Your Boots
