Hello there from Mr. Boots,
It’s been hot. It’s been humid. It’s been quite rainy, too. That doesn’t damper the spirits of the kitties, though. This past month has seen the adoption of our oh-so-wonderful Dot, opening up a new spot for Levi to hang out — the cubby on the lobby’s cat tree. Levi has also been caught canoodling with Cookie quite often.
As for our tuxedo boy, we are grateful (and a little amazed) that Boots has been so easygoing with his ever-changing cast of neighbors recently this summer. Once quite the brawler, Boots has been impressively tolerant of Levi, Morgan and all the other Community Cats that have been entering “his” territory these days. Kitties going (Dot), kitties coming in (Morgan) and all the re-adjustments that come with those changes have gone remarkably well.
Medically, a recent ultrasound showed a slight progression to Boots’ heart disease. After discussion, our vet team decided no change in medication was necessary at this time.
Boots continues to stay comfortable (note the photo) thanks to your care, kind sponsors. Thank you for your generosity. We quite honestly could not do this without you.
Until next month, friends, be well.
PS: Boots’ regular correspondent, Karin, will be back to bring you news of his antics next month. 🙂
