Update for Boots

Dear Boots friends,

Ok, it’s official: Boots is very boring. Don’t get me wrong, he’s very sweet (at least to humans) and boring can be a good thing. No drama, no medical emergencies, no “OMG is he ok?” moments. True. But, it makes it challenging for this correspondent to come up with interesting news for those whose generosity is keeping him happily bored and never missing a nap!

One of our dedicated volunteers reported that the only time she saw him alert this month was when he didn’t have too much choice, because Dot and D’Artagnan were playing. Or fighting. Or play-fighting. Anyway, there were squeaks and mini-meows enough, along with some painfully cute little growls, that awakened Boots from his late morning nap (not be confused with his early morning nap or his mid-morning nap). He watched, interested for a few seconds (perhaps analyzing the little ones’ fighting styles for pointers?), and then nodded off again.

Boots has no medical news this month. The only disruption to his nap schedule was when we had to “boot” him out of the lobby for the Catoberfest celebration on October 6th. Yes, wake up, Boots, you need to get safely tucked away – company’s coming. Hope all the noise doesn’t keep you up (Ha!).

Thank you, as always, for providing the World’s Best Nap-a-torium for our Boots. He’d thank you himself, but he’s fallen asleep again!
