Update for Boobalah

            Stewart!

Greetings, Dear Sponsors!

Boobalah loves hiding away in the tunnel, away from the world, and getting much-needed rest. But sometimes, curiosity gets the better of her, and she can’t resist coming out to see what’s happening.

Or, from what I hear, sometimes Stewart joins her in the tunnel, and then there is most certainly no more rest to be had!

Stewart is a new Lobby resident who we believe has Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH). CH occurs when the cerebellum, the part of the brain that deals with balance and coordination, does not form correctly in utero. Stewart will always be a bit wobbly, but his condition is neither painful nor progressive. He gets around a little differently than other cats, but it’s all he knows, and it is perfectly normal to him.

 Good morning Boobalah!

Stewart has his own roomy pen, but during the day, he frequently gets to roam with the big boys and girls. He is adorable and an absolute joy to watch — all that curiosity in the sweetest little package!

It turns out that spunky Stewart and beautiful Boo make a dynamic duo in the Aged to Purrfection program. On a recent Sunday, they performed their duties together, and Stewart’s first visit proved that he was born with angel wings. He visited with so many people and was loved by all. The two of them are naturals!

Boobalah geared up for Aged to Purrfection!

Boobalah’s weight has stabilized after a bit of loss last month. She did develop a urinary tract infection and had a physical exam with our veterinary team to feel for any further changes to her kidneys. Everything felt the same on palpation.

Boo attended both Paws to Read and Aged to Purrfection this month. She and Grecca have become regulars, as both are always happy to attend and get some extra attention. Some would say they can never get enough of it!

Our hearts are filled with gratitude for your devotion to Boobalah. You are her rock—her everything—that allows her to live her best life. We could not do all that we do for Boobalah without your steadfast support.

Have a beautiful month!

Donna
