I love that I get to update everyone on Bea. She’s my special girl. I do morning rounds every Sunday, and when I am done taking care of the daily duties, I head off to the Special Needs Suite to spend time with her. Yes, she is shy and a mysterious girl, but my time with her, one on one, has been so amazing. Bea is such a lovebug once you get to know her and once she gets to know you.

Just this past Sunday I ventured into the Special Needs Suite after I was done with my rounds. Beatrice was out of her cubby, getting a bite to eat – what a surprise! When she was done eating she settled down next to me outside her cubby and on a cozy kitty bed. Our sweet lady, it turns out, loves to be scratched behind the ears, and purrs like mad! After a few minutes of petting and scratching behind the ears I got my first kitty kiss on my hand from Beatrice. And she is a kisser!

I am hopeful that Beatrice will find a family that will love her and her kitty kisses and shy demeanor. Until then, thank you so much for supporting sweet Bea. She’s my little lady.
