‘Twas early December, when all through Tabby’s Place,
Not a kitty was stirring, except one little face.
Sally was tucked into her crate with care,
Dreaming of morning when Karina would be there.
And I in my blankets awake with a snap,
Shaking off the last of my long daytime nap.
I’ve been feeling great on less medication,
It makes me more alert for my nighttime activation.
I like Tabby’s Place when everyone is asleep,
I find it relaxing when nobody makes a peep.
Sleep, Olive! Sleep, Sally! Sleep, Anka! Sleep, Rose!
I’ll keep the watch until the sun has rose.
And if St. Nick should stop in for a seat,
I’ll make sure he leaves us plenty of treats.
Until the New Year, my generous sponsors,
I wish you days filled with love and laughter.
