How do I tell you about Sally? She’s…a challenge. Sally was adopted from us when she was just a baby. Unhappily, she had some bad behaviors that were reinforced by her previous owners. As a result of this, she has a poor sense of boundaries with people, enough that she was eventually returned by her adopters.

Sally is a large, all-black female. She was born in 2009, and she is healthy as far as we know. It is important that Sally NOT go to an environment where small children are often present. It would be best if she was an only cat, as she shows aggressiveness toward some (but not all) other felines, sometimes unprovoked. And she MUST live INDOORS ONLY, because of that unpredictable aggressiveness.

This sounds dire, I know, but Sally is not all bad. One on one, she is interactive, curious, and quite playful. However, anyone thinking about adopting her must be an experienced cat owner, and they must be very patient.

Certainly, Sally is not suitable for every home environment. But we believe she deserves a loving, “forever” home. If you like a good challenge and you’re an experienced cat owner with patience to spare, come in to meet our girl.
