Dear Friends,

Happy December to you. Our recent Thanksgiving with the Cats event was a huge hit! I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to see some of you in person. For those of you who were able to make it, thanks for visiting me. And for those who couldn’t make it, I hope you felt the virtual love and gratitude I sent your way. I’m so blessed to have you as my dear friends.
From my home in the volunteer office, I was able to watch the loving crowds take turns feeding special food cups and turkey treats to the FeLV+ cats in the Quinn’s Corner lobby. I even got to take stroller rides around Tabby’s Place, so I could participate. It was fun to watch and be part of the joyful festivities. My heart is full.

My tummy was acting up for a while after Thanksgiving (big apologies to my human roommates!). My appetite was off, too, which is rare for me. You would think I overindulged in turkey treats, but I promise I was a good boy. As they always do when something is amiss, the kind Tabby’s Place staff is keeping a close eye on me to make sure everything is okay.
Recently, one of my roommates brought her wobbly little foster kitten to work in a soft bassinet that she placed in a supervised area that I couldn’t reach. I sat on the floor staring intently at the bassinet, listening to the sweet purrs of the kitten inside. I was not my usual aggressive self toward this intruder. Maybe I have a soft spot for advanced needs kittens who purr with joy.
With the holidays just ahead of us and a new year on the horizon, I’ve been reflecting on my life and my time here at Tabby’s Place. I’ve been privileged to call this place my home for 7 beautiful years now. Your love and generous support are the reason that I—and so many other cats in hopeless situations—get to live out our dreams and get the best care possible.
Thanks for your love and everything that you do for me. Wishing you the happiest of holidays and a New Year filled with love, abundance, and joy.
All my love,
Anka
