Update for Anka

Dear Friends,

My very own mini iPad + lobby view = double the entertainment

My health and my spirits are fantastic. I absolutely LOVE living in the Volunteer Office with my two awesome roommates. Humans are my favorite species, though now that Gator and I can observe each other through our shared office window, I kinda like the sweet guy. When our roommates go home at night, Gator and I sometimes compare notes about them, and we’ve agreed they are equally perfect and deeply loved by us.

Earlier this month, a plump rodent named Punxsutawney Phil apparently saw his shadow, which means we’re supposed to have six more weeks of winter. I’ll never understand some American traditions. Anyhow, it’s been feeling more like spring in Ringoes, New Jersey, and I’m dreaming of the days we’re able to stroll outdoors again. In the meantime, I have my very own mini iPad where I’ve been binge-watching bird videos. This is my new favorite thing!

All these adventures make me sleepy …

More and more cats are moving into Quinn’s Corner every day, even though we are not officially open to the public until later this year. During a recent move, I watched a sweet group of kitties—Sky, Audrey, Cornbread, and Chicken Nugget —take care of each other and help each other cope with their move. They’re going to love it here in Quinn’s Corner!

The new Quinn’s Corner lobby is still unoccupied, so when my Development Office home is being cleaned, I’m allowed to go out and explore.

Every day has been a fun, new adventure, and I’m happy to be able to share those adventures with you. You are my best friend and favorite Valentine. I’m blessed to have you in my life. ❤️

Hugs and kisses,
Anka
