Behold one of our favorite tabby behemoths – the marvelously rotund Chicken Nugget!

Chicken Nugget and his colonymates lived outside a facility where they helped themselves to leftover scraps from a cafeteria. Although they lived outdoors, thankfully this big boy never went hungry, as evidenced by his supersized stature. This hefty feline clearly chowed down on all sorts of snacks. Unfortunately for Chicken Nugget and his friends, their home shut down and they were forced to relocate. Tabby’s Place opened their doors to Chicken and several of his side dishes in October 2022.

The indoor life was at first scary for our big boy, but the Nugg’ has proven that he is ready to have a home of his own. While he’s still a bit shy (and who can blame him after living outdoors for all that time), Chicken Nugget enjoys human affection and will never say no to a good chin scratch! Having lived in the company of other cats his entire life, Chicken also loves to hang out with his friends, and would love to be an addition to a multi-cat household.
