Dear Friends,

Happy New Year! I feel like I hit the jackpot. I’m so happy to share with you that I was chosen to be one of the first Tabby’s Place cats to move into Quinn’s Corner! I am now the only kitty in the new Volunteer Office. That means I’m surrounded by my favorite species: humans and pesky kitties like Hips can no longer invade my space.

Other kitties, like Gator, who is now part of the Development team, have also made the move to Quinn’s Corner. Gator and I sometimes say hello to each other through the glass. I can’t wait for other kitties to move to the new space so that I’ll have more feline entertainment to watch through my windows.
I’ve been obsessed with the trash and recycling bins in my new space. I like to pull the bins down, inspect them, and sit inside. What I’m really hoping is that one of the lovely humans I share my space with will throw yummy lunch leftovers in the trash bin, so I’m practicing my technique for knocking it over without getting caught. In terms of the recycling bin, I’m trying to make myself useful by doubling as a paper shredder. I have big plans.
Healthwise, I developed another urinary tract infection over the holidays. That was no fun, but the kind Tabby’s Place staff gave me antibiotics and some pain meds to keep me comfortable. I’m feeling better now and happy to explore my new space.

I hope you can come to visit me someday in my new luxury space at Tabby’s Place. (I’ll keep you posted as we approach our Grand Opening later this year!)
I’m deeply grateful for your continued friendship and support.
Love,
Anka
