Update for Anka

Dear Friends,

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! The holiday season is so festive here at Tabby’s Place. The lovely staff always makes it so special for us. And while it’s usually too cold to stroll outdoors, we had a recent spring-like day where some of us lucky kitties got to go for a splendid ride outside. My heart is full.

Holiday stockings have been hung around my luxury accommodations with great care, and I’m hopeful they’ll be filled with treats for me. I love yummy food treats, but they’re not good for me, so I’ll settle for toys to play with. I have lots of enrichment toys in my pen and the more the merrier!

I’m happy to report that the ringworm situation is now behind us. All affected kitties have been cleared and things are back to normal around here. I’m continuously impressed and amazed by the ability of our humans to pivot and respond quickly when there’s a crisis—like a global pandemic and a ringwork outbreak. Safety comes first, and our people work so hard to make sure everyone is cared for, especially during difficult times. These people are my angels.

You’re my angel, too. Every day I thank my lucky stars that my journey brought me here. Things could have ended very differently for me, but you stepped up and made a commitment that changed my life. I am blessed to have you as my friend.

I’m sending you a giant hug and many wishes for beautiful miracles this holiday season.

XOXO,
Anka
