Update for Anka

Dear Friends,

Stanley surrounded by divine light

I just heard a rumor that Cotton may have a seriously interested potential adopter. That’s big news around here! Especially for the lovely people who sign up to take us cats for stroller rides. They will no longer have to endure the guilty stare when it’s too hot to ride outside. But I know they’ll miss his cute, fuzzy face and taking him for stroller rides, which brings him so much joy. Even I will miss this little, entitled guy, and I don’t even like other cats.

I’m also growing fond of Stanley, but don’t tell anyone I told you that. I will totally deny it. After all, I have a reputation of being a cat bully to uphold. We are surrounded by beds and chairs, and Stanley continues to find oddball places to sleep.

My urinary tract infection has cleared and I’m no longer on antibiotics. I’ve lost a little bit of weight and have been more tense and agitated when the kind staff expresses me. My blood work looks good and I’m doing fine otherwise. I enjoy my luxury accommodations and all the stimulation I get from my people and my toys. On nice days, I get to enjoy outdoor stroller rides, though we haven’t had too many nice days this past month.

I’m getting ready to supervise the construction

There’s been a lot of action here at Tabby’s Place. A virtual kitten shower was a huge hit. Kittens are cute no matter how you view them—in person or online—and many were scooped up and adopted quickly. Construction has also begun on a new addition, called Quinn’s Corner. It will be dedicated to cats with the feline leukemia virus (FeLV). And part of it will also be built especially for neo-natal kittens. This addition will allow Tabby’s Place to help even more cats who are in dire situations.

A cats-eye view of the new construction

Your amazing support and generosity are what make Tabby’s Place possible for cats like me. Thank you for being my special friend and for always having my back.

Love,
Anka
