Dear Friends,
We’ve enjoyed a couple of snow days in recent weeks. One of them brought enough snow that two amazing staff members spent a Sunday night at Tabby’s Place to ensure we kitties were all safe and got our medications. Now that is dedication and love. This was an extra special treat for us lobby cats who got to enjoy a slumber party with the staff!
With all the snow and cold temperatures, our outdoor stroller rides have been put on hold. Cotton still persists in demanding stroller rides, so a few kind visitors have been giving him indoor stroller rides. While not quite the same, this seems to bring him some pleasure and fulfillment.
I continue to be very playful and feisty. I like to roll around with all the fun toys in my luxury accommodations. And I continue to “surprise” the lobby cats that don’t expect me, a paraplegic, to move as quickly as I do. For example, silly Stanley wandered near my luxury accommodations and, in a flash, I rushed the gate and struck him. He’s fine, but I think he learned his lesson.
My health is great and, other than rushing cats that approach my area, I’m told I’ve been a really good boy. I’m looking forward to spring and better weather so we can spend more time outside.
I’m sending you my endless gratitude and lots of furry Valentine kisses for your generous heart and all your loving support.
XOXO,
Anka
