Dear friends,
After my incident with Cotton last month, the kind people of Tabby’s Place have finally let go of the hope that someday I would integrate with other Lobby cats. To their credit, they’ve tried everything they could to modify my behavior but nothing has worked.

As a result, some of my behavior meds have been reduced and I feel even spunkier. Sometimes, for fun, I watch the other Lobby cats and wait for opportunities to swat at them from the gates of my luxury accommodations. The newest Lobby cat, Warren, is an ancient guy with some health issues. I don’t know if it’s the steroids he’s getting, if it’s senility, or maybe just a random burst of energy, but he recently walked up to my gate and stared me down. I accepted the challenge and started to walk over to him when the kind staff stepped in to remind Warren that I’m much larger and younger and he best move along.
I continue to go out for stroller rides on nice days. The kitties like to line up and wait for their turn. Cotton, as always, wants to go first and gets visibly miffed when it’s not his turn. Though he’s a cute little guy, he can really pull off that Grumpy Cat look.
For this new year, I’m wishing for continued stroller rides, fun times with my people friends at Tabby’s Place, and more treats (paws crossed, but I’m not holding my breath!). I’m also wishing that your days are filled with lots of laughter, love, and good health.
Big hugs,
Anka
