I had thought that "Yuri" was a man’s name, but this Yuri is female and just a baby; we think she was born in mid-May (2015). She’s all-black, with a stunning, sleek coat. Yuri gets along nicely with the other kittens in our nursery, a nice plus, and she’s a healthy girl.

Like some people, Yuri can take a little while to warm up to those she doesn’t know. But once she does, well, let’s just say you’ll know it! Our Sanctuary Manager has told me that Yuri enjoys being held, to the extent that she’ll lie in your arms. She’s an active young lady, as you’d expect.

We know Yuri will make a wonderful addition to someone’s home; it’s just a question of the right person or family walking through our doors.
