We know that Yelena was born on 4/30/12. How? Because she first came to Tabby’s Place as a tiny kitten. She was adopted as a kitten, but unhappily she was recently returned because her adopter could no longer care for her. Yelena has been understandably unnerved by her sudden relocation. Although she’s a good-natured girl, she’s been skittish with us since her return. Unlike a lot of other Tabby’s Place cats, however, she absolutely adores other felines. Currently, her two roommates are Mario and Sammy, and she spends a good deal of time rubbing on both of them—it’s really very sweet.
Yelena is a medium-to-large girl, healthy as far as we know. She has a brown tabby tail with a white tip, and brown tabby patches on her back, her head, her face, and her hind legs; the rest of her coat is white. She’s playful and especially inquisitive. Yelena would be a good match for a lot of different home situations, especially where there’s an existing cat in need of a companion.
