Winter is a gorgeous, long-haired, all-white male, with one blue eye and one green eye (unlike some blue-eyed white cats, he is NOT deaf). Unusually, we know something about his history. He was born in 2007 and was living in a house, but the couple who owned him surrendered him to a shelter due to allergies. From that shelter, he came to Tabby’s Place. His world was turned upside down in a brief space of time, so it’s not a surprise that he can be a little timid. He’s gentle, and not at all aggressive, but getting used to life in a suite with eleven other felines is a big adjustment for any cat. Winter is generally very sweet with people. He was an only cat, and he loves to rub on humans, purring. We think he’d be fine in a home with another cat or three, as long as they weren’t too domineering.
Winter has polyps in his ears. This is a chronic condition. His ears will need to be cleaned regularly, and he will require on-and-off antibiotics in the form of ear drops (perhaps frequently; we’re not sure right now). Otherwise, he’s healthy as far as we can determine, and, like the rest of our wonderful cats here, waiting for an adopter.
