Wesley

Wesley is a gray tabby with white on his muzzle and chin. He’s of medium size, and he’s healthy as far as we can determine. We’re not sure what happened to Wesley, but he came to us with one hind leg in a shocking state. He came in with a degloving injury. At first, we weren’t quite certain we could save his leg, but months of devoted attention by our staff have paid off. Amazingly, Wesley’s leg has healed beautifully, perhaps because he’s a young cat (we believe he was born in August of 2015, so he’s scarcely more than a baby).

Wesley has made a lot of progress after months of interaction with our staff; however he is still a shy cat. We recommend he go to a home without small children, but he has come a very long way with people and we know he can progress still farther.

Given that Wesley’s early, outdoor life was so filled with incident, we strongly urge that he be an INDOOR ONLY cat. We’re looking for an adopter with some patience who can coax this guy out of his shell; we know that he or she will gain a faithful companion in return.
