Here’s a friendly boy for you! Vinny is a black-and-white male, about 5 years of age (as of 1/09). He has a rough coat, with white on his tummy and all four paws; he also has a white chest and a white blaze on his face, with a tip of black on his nose (it’s a very cute effect).

Vinny likes people and will come over to request attention. He has a big purr, which you’ll hear a good deal, especially if you scratch him on either side of his neck. He particularly enjoys stretching out on the floor near people. Vinny doesn’t seem bothered by the presence of other felines, an additional plus.

Update: We have recently discovered that Vinny has HCM, the type of heart disease most common in cats. He also has high blood pressure, which requires a daily medication. With time, there is a possibility that his HCM may worsen, requiring medication or other treatment. Because of his HCM, Vinny is now one of our Special Needs crew.
