Here’s the deal on Uma: the shelter from which she came to us listed her as a Bengal. We can’t really list her as a Bengal, given that we have no proof, but she looks to us as though she might be a cross between a Bengal and a brown tabby. She has “ticked” spotting—that is, tiny darker spots on a lighter brown coat, with just a bit of white on her chin. Uma also has striking green eyes that are quite large. She’s of medium size, and according to our best guess she was born in August 2008.
Uma can be quite vocal and has an especially loud meow. She wants to be friends, but she is often a little shy until she gets to know people, and she can be on the jumpy side. Because of this, we think it would be better if she went to a home without small children.
This is a young, beautiful girl, and we know she just needs to spend some time around someone with a little patience to blossom into a loving companion. Can you help?
