Tex

Tex is a quiet boy rescued by animal control in West Virginia. He, his three siblings, and their mother lived together with a foster family there, and he was friendly and social with everyone. Tex recently arrived at Tabby’s Place and the move understandably scared him a bit. He is healthy and sweet, although currently quite shy.

But the wonderful volunteers at Tabby’s Place are working with Tex in a program called “Fearful Felines”, which helps cats learn to trust the joys that humans bring like affection, toys, and treats! He will surely make fantastic progress in no time.

Tex is about four years old, and has mostly black fur on the top of his body with mostly white fur underneath his eyes and on his lower body. Tex is hoping to find a forever home to call his own that he can trust. Tex needs someone who can take the time to work with him and help him feel safe and loved.
