It’s a great feeling to be able to get a timid cat to trust people, so we’re delighted with Sylvan and how far he’s come along that road. At first, he was very scared of everyone, but over time he’s become much calmer and much more trusting. He’s still a little shy when you first meet him, but he’s improved so much around people that it’s often hard to believe. Sylvan gets along nicely with other cats in his suite, and, as one staffer puts it, “he hasn’t a mean bone in his body”.

We estimate Sylvan was born in 2006, so he’s a young cat. He’s a good-looking boy with an unusually expressive face. Sylvan is a brown tabby with dark brown stripes and spots against a lighter brown coat. We know it’s just a matter of time until Sylvan finds his “forever” home, but he deserves to have that day come sooner rather than later. Come check out our beautiful tabby boy!
