Sven
At this writing (5/29/14), Sven is just about six weeks old (we believe he was born on or close to April 14, 2014). He’s already a good-sized little guy, and we think he’ll be a big boy as an adult. He’s an unusual combination of brown tabby and grey tabby, and he’s a mackerel(that is, spotted) tabby on his body, while his legs and tail have tabby stripes. He has a beige-colored tummy with some darker spots on it.
Sven was found outside at just over 2 weeks of age with a sibling, who unfortunately did not make it; we never found out anything about a Momcat. But Sven has done beautifully with us. He’s an active little boy, healthy as far as we can determine. When he’s not being a bundle of energy (it does happen occasionally), you can pick him up and cuddle him—he’s a nice kitten. He gets along well with his current roommate, a kitten from a different litter; the two seem to divide their time between wrestling and attempting to escape their quarters! Hydrangea, the other kitten, is already spoken for, and now we’re looking for a home for little Sven. (If you believe, as we do, that kittens should have someone their own age to play with, know that we have a lot of kittens at Tabby’s Place right now.) We know this little fellow will be adopted quickly, so come in soon to meet him.
