How to tell you about Stella? She’s a gorgeous calico, on the large side, with lots of rich, deep color on her top half, including an unmistakable patch of black on the left side of her face and over her nose; most of her underside is white. Our best estimate is that she was born in or around April of 2010, and she’s a healthy girl as far as we can determine.
As far as her personality goes, she absolutely loves to play and is especially fond of feather toys. At present, Stella has a changeable personality; she can be sweet, but she can also turn without much warning. In her defense, she’s been through a lot of changes within the past few months. She was adopted from a shelter into a private home, but she did not get along with the cat that was already there. I’m not sure where else she ended up before coming to Tabby’s Place, but that’s at least three different environments within a short time, and that can be a lot for any feline to handle. For the present, we strongly suggest she go to a home without other cats and without small children.
Our belief is that Stella simply needs a chance to calm down. We’ll keep you updated on her progress here, so watch this space!
