Super-friendly Sinbad is a black male with black whiskers and just a few white hairs. He has yellow-green eyes and a small nick in his right ear. Even if he’s never seen you before, Sinbad wants affection! He’ll come up to you with no hesitation to ask for petting or rub on you, purring continuously as he does so. He seems to do well with everyone, as well as with other cats. Sinbad is somewhere in the 10 to 12 year old range, we estimate.

Sinbad is hypertensive, and he’s on blood pressure medication for this. More importantly, he’s in the early stage of CRF (chronic renal failure). CRF is usually a disease that progresses slowly, and cats often live with it for years (occasionally, however, it can progress much more quickly). The only symptoms he’s exhibiting at this stage are drinking a lot of water and urinating a lot (he has no problems using his litterbox, however).

We understand that Sinbad’s age and conditions greatly lessen his chances of adoption, but he’s such a friendly boy we’re hoping that someone will overlook his medical issues and take him home. Help us prove that nice guys don’t have to finish last!
